Default Question for anyone who purchased the complete series on DVD

can you confirm if the Tag scene for Ralph's Rival is included?

Here is a review from Amazon:

"It is as if they took each individual leftover season DVDs and put them together in a set. The first disc talks about content coming in 2004! I know the original show is 4:3 format, but at least redo the home menus in letter box. I don't think anything was redone from this box set from the original 2003 DVD releases. Perhaps there is no source material to digitally remaster but you would think they would do a progressive scan for a modern release."

Does not look good.

Then if that is the case then the answer is probably NO

Yeah, and I am disappointed because it looks like they didn't upgrade the film quality, either. On my original series DVDs there is yellow banding across the screen which is really annoying.

Also, I remember Mr. Pitt saying that audio in the Ralph's Rival tag scene was crappy when he viewed the original at UCLA. If Anchor Bay didn't fix the visual quality, I am betting they wouldn't have taken the time to redo or fix bad audio in that tag scene. Sounds like they just mushed all the old DVD stuff together and sold is as "something new." BS

I take it this was the copy Mr. Pitt viewed at UCLA, the original ABC version, correct?

Didn't know the tag scene was also available in the original English. I thought currently, it was only available in a foreign dub.

Yes, and you have to make arrangements ahead of time, before you can watch something at UCLA.
