In a long and illustrious career he became an authority on football at the BBC, famous for his protruding chin and businesslike yet amiable manner, and if there was any catchphrase which marked him out it would have to be at the World Cup, where he pronounced that "this team has gone as far as the talent would take them". http://www.bbc.co.uk/news
