The Mayor's Office is Where????....

Episode 'The Loaded Goat' the mayor is in the office talking about the underpass & the loaded goat & if it blows up, the building is gone; the matter would go straight up but I am thinking how could the Mayor's office be above the Sheriff's office/courthouse??? That makes no sense; its not a big enough building to have a mayor's office up there.

Looks to be pretty good size, and, of course, as much space as downstairs. Then there;s the "annex" that runs from the Mayor's office to Howard and the nurses offices, above the barber shop and the grocery store.

It didn't make sense... I always wondered how there could be windows in the jail cells where they were when the rest of the building should be there, like Floyd's barber shop

I just watched the Christmas episode with Ben out in the alley and there must be a "courtyard" area outside Floyd's, his barber shop must just be that front room with perhaps an exit into that area where Ben and the jail windows were.

I also remember them saying the Mayor's office was above the courthouse in one of the episodes. I'm sorry I can't remember which episode but I agree that it didn't look like his office would have been above the jail unless there was a side staircase beside the jail.

In the Christmas episode when old Ben is peeking through the jail cell window, there's s brick wall coming out beside him... seems just about right for a stairway

The more I think about it, just how big does a Mayor's office need to be?

Seems to be plenty of room for the Mayor upstairs, really..
