In 1973 I got a Chemistry Set for Christmas. It was only a matter of time before I found out how to make Gunpowder.

PS. Do they still make these sets available?

I wanted a chemistry set when I was a kid. My mom said "No way, you'll burn down the house."

I've been hit with a dartboard. They hurt.

I always wanted a Magic 8 Ball. I never got one. I think my mother thought I would get into the occult or fortune telling or something. I never asked her why I never got one. But I think that she considered it a dangerous toy!

That's another toy I didn't get either. Or a quija board. No burning down the house or contacting dead folks for me.

Cool

Boxing gloves! And I got them too! Two pairs so I could box with my friends. Turns out I'm a lousy boxer and I have the crooked nose to prove it!!

Creepy Crawler Bug Maker. I guess my parents didn't think it would be a good idea to leave me alone with metal plates that were hot enough to melt plastic.

I had one of those creepy crawler sets. It taught me how to deal with hot surfaces!

I'm surprised Playdoh isn't considered dangerous seeing as little kids feel the need to eat it.
