Happy Git 'em while the gittin's GOOD! Day

Today is the Thursday before Christmas ans right on cue Publix has SLASHED the price of their Standing Rib Roasts to $6.99 a pound. I call this day "Git 'em while the Gittin's GOOD! Day, and it has replaced Black Friday (Ruined by Corporate Greed ) as my favorite Holiday Shopping Day of the year.

Since each store only lets you purchase two roasts at a time I go on a long sweep "raiding" several different stores in the Daytona Beach area, and when I return home I have a year's supply of the little buggers in my freezer.

If that isn't enough ANOTHER store (BJ's) sells Stilton Cheese, which IMO is the best member of the Blue Cheese Family. I'll "relieve" them of a dozen packages which also find their way to my freezer (When they thaw out they crumble REAL eazy, which makes them easier to measure when using them to make my @$$-kicking Cheeseballs, among other things.
