"MADtv" Cast Reuniting for 20th Anniversary Special in January

The one-hour "MADtv" 20th Anniversary Reunion special (Jan. 12, 8/7c) will reunite 19 stars of the Fox sketch comedy series, which ran from 1995 to 2009.

Per The CW, “the cast reunites to attend a glamorous award ceremony to honor the series, but in classic MADtv fashion, nothing goes as planned.”

Hopefully we'll see Ms. Swan, Stuart, and Lorraine!

I finally got around to watching The CW special off my DVR and I was a little disappointed w/ this. I guess I was expecting to see the cast do new sketches and not a "best of" show.

Also, what was up w/ Bon Qui Qui being voted Best Character?

I was just going to post a 'where are they now' from seasons 1-5 or so. The early years were the absolute best!! I liked Mo Collins, Debra Wilson, Nicole Sullivan, Phil LaMar, Michael McDonald, the men of the show were the best.. Early years. One guy was in that movie Office Space and he was my fave.

I missed this 20th reunion special. I guess some cast members are doing better things or not so better things.

"MADtv" is Getting a Revival on The CW

"MADtv", the late-night sketch comedy series that ran for 14 seasons from 1995 to 2009 on Fox, will be making a somewhat unexpected comeback on The CW, the network announced Monday.

"MADtv" will return for eight new one-hour prime-time episodes. The cast will consist of fresh-faced new comedians, with original cast members returning to host. A premiere date and full cast will be announced at a later date.

The CW aired a 20th anniversary reunion special in January.
