ABC airing daytime reruns

Hi know Ihave asked This before but did abc ever air day time reuns of threee,s company if yes what years and whattimes?

A year later, it entered Syndication with 130 episodes; 128 from Three's Company (all the episodes they made up to that point, including the hour-long retrospective, which was now a 2-parter), and 2 episodes of The Ropers (Not sure exactly what those two were).

I know for sure that the first episode of The Ropers aired right after the Three's Company episode, "An Anniversary Surprise." The other Ropers episode may have been "The Party," in which the trio makes a guest appearance.

And the Syndicated run also inserted a "Distributed by D.L. Taffner Syndication Sales" card at the end of each episode. Did it also appear on the daytime reruns in 1981, as well?

Lastly, were the episodes shown in Syndication in production order, as opposed to airing order?

Not sure, but I did find this comment on a YouTube video showcasing that logo: "Used only on "Three's Company" and "The Ropers" reruns in syndication. From 1982, the background changed from gold to bright orange."


I am not sure if they could have been aired in production order, as that would have put an episode like The Bake-Off (with the Ropers) after An Anniversary Surprise (the Ropers' send-off).

You are correct on both your assumptions. Chris Mann's book "Come and Knock on Our Door" confirms that these 2 episodes of "The Ropers" are syndicated with "Three's Company" and also gives the order in which they appear in syndication. The pilot of The Ropers appears in syndication order right after "An Anniversary Surprise", and "The Party" appears in syndication order right after "Triangle Troubles", which was the last originally-aired Three's Company episode in Season 3.
