Dallas had Miss Ellie to be played by the late Donna Reed roughly midway through its run, before Barbara Bel Geddes came back.

Dynasty had Pamela Sue Martin playing Fallon Colby for the first four seasons, and then Emma Samms took over for roughly the remainder of the run.

Boy Meets World - Morgan Matthews was played by Lily Nicksay during seasons one and two and by Lindsey Ridgeway during seasons three thru seven.

The Munsters Marilyn Munster was played by Beverly Owen for the first thirteen episodes and then by Pat Priest for the duration of the series.

On 'til Death the role of Allison Stark (daughter to Brad Garrett and Joely Fisher's characters) was played by FOUR different actresses in the course of its four season run. Krysten Ritter played her on a recurring basis for seasons one and two. In season three, she was played by Laura Clery for (I believe) six episodes. In season four, Lindsay Broad portrayed Ally for about nine episodes before being replaced by Kate Micucci for the show's final twelve or so episodes. Only Lindsay Broad, however, was a credited cast member. The others were always billed as guest stars.

Does Laurie on That 70s Show count? The late Lisa Robin Kelly was replaced by Christina Moore.

Arnold was actually played by a piglet, and, since piglets quickly grow into adult pigs, at least one piglet per year had to be trained for the role of Arnold during the six years that the show was in production. [12] In most episodes, Arnold was played by a female piglet. The piglet was paid $250 dollars per day and had a union contract!!!
