Season 4 credits

Just noticed on the episode "Jack on the Lam" that the credits are different with the cast riding on the merry go round.

Yep. I thought those were better closing credit images too.

I guess the Trio walking side by side was considered more iconic by the producers, but far more boring and less fun to me.

I think the credits are different in the first episode because it was before Don Knotts and Ann Wedgworth appeared. The producers wanted to keep the new characters secret until it was revealed who they were.

Yeah the Opening and Closing credits are different for that episode probably because it's a introduction to the new look characters and new area


That's why they have on the same clothes in Jack on the Lam that they do in the opening and closing credits

Actually in the credits they have the same clothes on as in the episode "The New Landlord," the third episode of the season. They probably filmed the credit sequence and that episode all at once.
