^^^ Who cooked your thanksgiving dinner?

My father cooked the dinner this year and sent me off with only two plates. I finished the left overs on Friday.... turkey, potatoes, stuffing and greens.... the sweet potato pie was for my daughters 'cause I don't like sweet potato pie.

I LOVE macaroni and cheese.... but only the baked, homemade kind. My dad did make mac & cheese for thanksgiving dinner, but there was none left over for me to take home. That's one of the first side dishes to go!

I hope you finally got to eat some of your mom's mac & cheese.

Same as Wawwie. We went visiting for Thanksgiving and took a couple plates of leftovers home, which we ate already! But Christmas we're staying home and cooking here. I will be "hammed out" and tired of the leftovers a couple days after Christmas I'm sure!!

Trying to remember but I am sure I don't take any leftovers home after Christmas because my mom doesn't cook as much food like she does for Thanksgiving

That's what I'm thinking for New Years eve, going out to eat for dinner. Going early, way before all the partying and craziness starts going on! Just so we can get out a little and get home and just ring in the New year quietly here with a couple of drinks . A lot of times our old a**es fall asleep before midnight! LOL!!!

I still have my leftovers. I may eat them today or tomorrow.

Next year, I'm planning on making a vegetable lasagna.

Thumbs up

Usually with a week of Thanksgiving. I have a gonzo soup recipe I use for the leftover meat. Here's the recipe.

I usually only have a day's worth of leftovers, and they're almost always gone by end of day Friday.
