They've done a good job on this. The flesh tones look great.

Wink Once Is Not Enough

There are 2 good reasons to love about this.
1. It looks great and makes you wish the entire series was colorized.
2. This is the 2nd opening to The Munsters that was not until now colorized before. Before we had 1 episode of Munsters colorized from season 1 and they colorized the season 1 opening in that episode, here we get a 2nd season version of the opening colorized!!!

I love colorization, if I ran the world all b/w shows/movies would be colorized, now the only thing we all have to worry about is WHEN will the entire series be put out on DVD in this wonderful & beautiful colorized state. I LOVE IT!! Bring on the whole series colorized, I can't wait to buy.

Oh my god, now you're over here screaming about color.

I will say that this colorized Munsters opening doesn't look bad, but no thank you all the same, I'll continue watching The Munsters in the original black and white.

They've made such great strides in the process that I find it hard to tell what's been colourised and what hasn't. I'd love to see the entire series in glorious colour. Providing they use existing sources to go by. I fear the cost will probably prevent this though.

The makeup was mostly blue/gray, even though they said he was green in the show.

With the process I used for the video, I imagine a team of 10/20 people could knock out an episode in one/two weeks. The opening took me one week to colorize by myself and that is including the initial trial and error of creating a smooth workflow. In the grand scheme, I don't think it would cost THAT much for a studio to colorize the series, but judging from the responses to my version, the demand is split and would probably deter Universal from giving a solid green light. I personally would love to see the series in color using my method because I really tried to stay original to the series and keep all of the colors natural. I am actually in the process of colorizing an entire episode by myself, but I estimate that it is going to take me at least a year since I can only really work on it in the evenings or during weekends. Glad you like it!

Really cool stuff, I have seen some other colorized photos on here, but the entire opening? Awesome! Thanks for posting, this was fun to watch!

I'd seen this on YouTube but didn't know it was done by someone on this forum, Inspectorjack. Very well done. As if the second season had been shot in color.
