Memories From the Set: Dan Bucatinsky on "Grey's Anatomy"


Bucatinsky's long friendship with "Grey's" producers/writers Tony Phelan and Joan Rater, as well as his knowing Sandra Oh (from when they both acted in "Under the Tuscan Sun") meant that he wound up traveling in the ABC medical drama's orbit for a while before getting cast as the partner of an emotionally abusive singer.

(He'd later write an episode.)



"But in my attempts to get on a gurney on a television show in any way, shape, or form, still missed it that time," he says, laughing.
