When Adam's childhood physician came to visit him in Denver, he alluded to Adam having a drug-fueled breakdown in his teenage days and how he nursed him back to health.

He also told him to his face that his eyes looked a little too "bright."

Adam angrily dismissed him, saying he had a problem but he didn't anymore.

Adam is also seen taking some pills at one point, though we don't know what they are.

Anyone here know what those drugs that provoked Adam's teenage breakdown might have been?

Wasn't there an allusion to psychedelic drugs-so LSD,magic mushrooms..you could take your pick really. How did we fall for all that guff anyway..http://www.ultimatedallas.com/dynasty/adam.htm

I believe there was, yes.

I'm not a drug expert, but based on what I remember seeing, that's what I took it as.
