Did You ever try a new tv show, anticipating you'll like it, but it turns out you hate it?

This happened to me with Mash. I really thought I was going to enjoy it. Watched 1 episode and thought sucked.

Barney Miller. I like the theme song and I tried watching it some when it first was on Antenna TV but I just found it too boring and just couldn't really get into it and gave up early on.

Starlost. Science-Fiction and Soap Operas simply don't mix.

Once I start, 99.9% of the time I stick with it, be it 5 episodes or 5 years.

I agree with Northern Exposure And Hogans Heroes.
For Northern Exposure, I heard how good it was and all the hype about it. So I watched 1 episode and thought it was kind of " bland" and boring.

Hogans Heroes on the other hand looked like a crappy show from the get go. Who would like a show like that? Probably the WORST show I have ever saw.

Same here...even my brother and Yoko gave me this method of HIMYM, watch it you'll love it...

I tried to get into TBBT, but I disliked the characters, especially Sheldon. Also...Chuck Lorre is responsible with that show...he's also responsible with Two and a Half Men!

It seems that sitcoms 2000's and beyond has 3-4 bland characters and an *******...the method sucks! That's why I can't watch HIMYM or RoE, I really hate those shows!
