Someone at the imdb boards just noted they were only 4 years apart in age (Franklin born in '44, Lembeck in '48). I never noticed they were that close.

In 'real' years...if Mac was born in 1959 and Bonnie in 1944....if portraying their 'real' ages on the show, Ann would have been 15 when Julie was born, if I'm doing my math right...
And I don't think they ever stated Ann was quite that young when she married and had her first child...still maybe under 20, but older then 15. |

Wow! So we are in season 9 now, 1984! Michael would be 36 than! He looked ALOT younger than 36!
When he was on the Partridge family last Saturday, he was in his early 20's and he really looked like a teenager more!

The other day on "Perils of plastic" Ann was touching Max's head/ stroking his hair like she does with Julie and Barbara! Like she considers him a son! Hmmmmm!!!! But they are so close in age. I wonder if Bonnie Franklin really wished he was brought on the show as a love interest for her? I mean the guy is gorgeous ! And his hair is beautiful. If I got to run my hands through that pretty hair, I'd want to be his love interest, NOT his Mother in law!!! Also she touched his leg, right above his knee (Julie's also though ) when they were sitting on the couch!

Unexplored thread topic. Ann and Max might have been an interesting pairing. Swarthy and Shorty...
