Richard Rickover - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I know Larry Mondello left the show because the actor who played him moved to Jersey. But what ever happened to Richard Rickover? He wasn't around for the final season of LITB. Does anybody know why he left the show so suddenly? I liked him.

p.s. How 'bout little Tim Mathieson of "Animal House" fame as Beaver's friend in two episodes?

I wish they would have explained the disappearances of cast members. Larry just vanished without a word, too and he was such an important part of Beav's life. I'm just glad that they didn't add a different character by the same name, like Darren on Bewitched. I was shocked to learn that Mike was Tim Mathieson! I could see the resemblance once I knew it was Tim.

Yeah, Junie, you're right. I would also like to know what happened to some of Wally's old pals as well...namely Tooey & Chester. The actor who played Tooey is the brother of the actor who played Whitey. Whitey is there from start to finish, where'd Tooey go? Can anyone shed some light on this?

And how 'bout Judy?
She left too.

Yea Mike was Tim Mathieson! Very funny actor. Too bad he was only in two episodes of LITB. (Tell it To Ella and Clothing Drive.) I remember a post about "Clothing Drive." That's a crummy epiosde as someone posted! Too bad that Tim couldn't have been introduced at an earlier part of the series. I think that "Clothing Drive" is the second worst episode of LITB. The worst is "Beaver the Bunny."

I never liked Richard at all! I just found him creepy. Anyone else feel that way?
