No not really,though I have been known to sing Frank Sinatra songs now and again. Mr. Harmon must have felt a deep sense of frustration at his lowly status,though ironically he always seemed to be better paid than the workers on the shop floor.

Looking back it seems those were the heydays of the working classes with one exchange summing up the relative blue collar power:

Captain Peacock: Stand over there and await my orders.
