Schneider , having been away at his new job for "awhile", pays a visit and asks Barbara if he's going to be an uncle yet. Barbara smiles, pats her stomach, and says not yet. The we can't have kids episode had aired a year ago.

Yeah and they didn't just drop the story line of Barbara not having kids. Because later on her and Mark were looking into adopting!
