Default Luxury Theaters

A few theaters in my area had some upgrades done, such as leather seats.

However, after doing a search, I discovered there are some luxury theaters which have not only leather seating, but reclining seats with footrests and swing-out trays and extra features.

The most ultra-luxurious one I have found is called Cinepolis in Westlake Village. This one is amazing... plenty of stretch-out room and you can actually push a button and a waiter will take your order and bring it to you.

Here are a few photos to show what it is like. I will post more because there are quite a few good photos of this place.

Note the large amount of room visible in the 2nd photo.

The first photo shows the generous amount of room. It is almost like a private theater.

The 2nd and 3rd photos... not many theaters serve ice cream and steak!

Coming up next... menu photos.

I think we have one in Scottsdale. It would be nice to go once and experience it. It's like flying first class.

How much is the ticket price to enter this luxury theater?
What is on the menu, and what are the prices---are they reasonable?

So much for just popcorn, candy or sodas.

I guess this gives a whole new meaning to "dinner and a movie!"

Altoona just built/opened a big fancy theatre. I guess people were excited because they can now have a beer while watching a movie.
Haven't been to the theatre in years.

Regular adult ticket is $19; matinee is $15.

Menu prices are quite expensive but it is to be expected. Here are some examples:

I have not been to the one I posted, however, I have been to one which is upscale from the average theater (it also has the reclining leather seats). I think these theaters are a very good idea and something which was needed. Those narrow cloth seats are not very comfortable!

Here are more photos of the menu...

The show listings have an icon meaning alcoholic beverages are available (served by a waiter). Available in some of the rooms but not all of them.

The photo below... now this is luxury!

I wonder if there's luxury theaters that sell alcoholic beverages?

Most theaters in general these days seem to sell alcoholic beverages.

This sounds great if it's a service you want. But personally for me, no frills is just fine. I seldom go to the theatres anymore; much rather watch a DVD in the privacy of my apartment.. But I always think it's great when there are options for everyone.

Even flying, I like to keep it simple. Rather spend my money on other things; like ensuring a financially viable retirement.
