Not sure if anyone can answer this one. Where is the original Golden Girls house used on the show? I believe it's in Southern California. Would like to take my wife there when I go for business next month-as a surprise-strange I know-but she'd get a kick out of it-and so would I. Not interested in bothering anyone either-just have a look and drive on by. Thanks.

When I was in LA in 96, I went to DisneyLand/World (whatever it's called). There was a "backstage tour" that included the Golden Girls house. It came up quick, so I didn't know what it was at first until the tour guide told us about it.
Hope that helps...................... |

The Backlot Tour at MGM Studios at Disney World (in Florida) has the facade of the house (it's really strange... it looks just like the actual house but it's completely flat). The real house is located somewhere in CA. I *think* I've heard that it's in the Palisades area, but I'm not sure. The actual house was used until the show was sold into syndication. When Buena Vista bought it, they built a facade to use for exterior shots, which is what's a Disney World.
