"Once Upon a Time" Exclusive: Barbara Hershey Set to Return in 100th Episode

Barbara Hershey will return to "Once Upon a Time" for the upcoming 100th episode, EW has learned exclusively. She will reprise her role as Regina’s (Lana Parrilla) mother, Cora, otherwise known as the Queen of Hearts.

The last we saw of Hershey’s Cora in present day — Rose McGowan plays a younger version of the character — she had attempted to obtain the Dark One’s dagger, but was killed by Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin).

It’s unclear whether Cora will appear via flashback, or there’s something surprising in store for the big episode, which is slated to air as the spring premiere in early March.
