Default Hanna-Barbara "Lost and Found" Large VHS collection discovered

I recently inherited from a friend who passed on, a collection of several hundred (!) VHS tapes (off-cable SP) recordings of LOADS of Hanna-Barbara (1950's-mid 1970's) cartoons from when they aired on the good old days old of Cartoon Network.

It's going to be a major project to deal with but first I could use some information.

Does anyone have a list of all the offical DVD and DVD MOD releases of Hanna Barbara shows that Warners has put out. I need to eliminate all the stuff that is out currenty, or about to come out.

Thanks.

There are people out there included myself who collects CN stuff especially from the early days, complete with all the cartoons (even including the ones that are already on DVD) and it's promos and commercials. They were great days!

One of the crown jewels of lost Hanna-Barbera material is the original intro to The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour. The only trace of its existence is this home movie/audio recording hybrid.

Not even this videotape recording of ABC's Saturday morning lineup from 1976, a time when VHS and Betamax were in their infancy, has it.

Hi
You have to remember betamax was not cheap back then even the tapes was like 6 to 8 a tape. I fear a lot of people did not know the treasure they had and rerrcorded over the old tapes . i found some old 70" s stuff but not much i find more 50" s 60" s and 80" s with oringal commercials then the 70" s even thow they had 16mm and U-matic and later betamax and vhs .

I have 2 discs of some old Hanna-Barbera shows with commercials, that I'm pretty sure was done via 16mm.

6 to 8? You mean 6 to 8 dollars? Try again, I had a Beta machine in 1981 and the blank tapes were $24.95 EACH. Just two or three years BEFORE that blanks were $30. I WISH blank tape would have been that cheap in the early 80's. If so I'd have more than 60 or so Beta tapes of recorded television from 1981-1984
