Default MUST SEE EPS!!! Barbara and Mark's wedding tonight!

So all of you on Eastern Standard time take a nap, because you don't want to fall asleep for these major eps!!!! Remember the big controversy because Mark wanted to play golf and Barbara wasn't too happy about it!

I found the old thread we had going last time, but decided not to bump it up!! There was a lot of fighting going on that thread!

The checks in mail. If I remember it right, I started that trouble and was heavily involved. Hey, I was a rookie back then.

No nap for me, but I'll see what I can do to stay awake and not doze off to sleep when the commercials are on.

Never miss ONE DAY, or any of the fine late night TV options, again. Recommended by 4 out of 5 doctors. Or at least that young guy who took care of Julie's appendix.

The box of NoDoz pills you posted reminds me of a TV commercial I saw about 40 years ago when watching late night TV on WGN in Chicago. The commercial was for alertness/energy pills called Wakoz (pronounced Wake-oz.) It was an interesting commercial, must be why it's still fresh in my memory 40 years later. Late night TV was great in those days.

-That's not a fight, that's a minor kerfuffle

-What golf championship tournament tees off so early in the morning?

-Barbara's (and Julie's) bedroom seemed to have gotten bigger over the years.

- I say we hunt down that @#$% Cynthia Ogletree and straighten her out.

And it was a good thing for Mark to play golf, or he would sit in the corner counting his toes? Now that would have been weird!!! Isn't that what he said? It didn't make much sense !!!!

Well I tried, but I dozed off again and missed the end of the 2nd episode. I saw up to the part where the guy walks in and says Mark will leave the golf course no later than 11:15, which made Ann uptight because the wedding was supposed to start at noon. That's when I zoned out.

I think I'll just have to start recording these shows on the DVR and watch later because I often have difficulty staying awake.

From what I saw of this two-parter, it was OK but I didn't really care for it all that much. I thought Barbara was being a little over dramatic about Mark's golf playing. However, I could also see her point. Any guy who insists on playing golf the morning of his wedding day doesn't have his priorities straight. Both Mark and Barbara acted immature in this episode, like neither one was ready to be married.

Barbara was telling Mark..........."everything has to go right because it's the most important day in a woman's life"
So what about the man's life? That day has no importance?
Like it's not a very special day for the groom?
Barbara could really be a dingbat sometimes.
It also pissed me off how she was so selfish in getting upset that Julie might be having labor pains so close to her wedding.
SELFISH.
Barbara acted like such a giant baby when Mark was trying to explain his side of things... regarding the morning golf and how Barbara keeps saying "It's MY wedding..... it's MY day..." She wouldn't even let him speak. She just storms out of the apartment like a spoiled brat.
I was completely on Mark's side.
Barbara was a total shrew to Mark on the celebration night before the wedding.

Barbara and Mark were both selfish, neither one acted like they were ready to be married. But I agree Barbara behaved like an over the top drama queen because of Mark's golfing. She must have taken drama lessons from Ann.

Thumbs down

Mark could have golfed any other day of the year. He never showed any interest in it beyond the wedding episode so it couldn't have been all that important to him anyway.

He was the selfish one in my opinion.

He should have put his wife first on their wedding day. As it was, he got there just in the nick of time and Ed had to run after him. He really put himself first and was very self centered about the whole thing.

That being said, Barbara can be real shrew sometimes. (Like in the Vegas 2 parter where she acted like a 2 year old.) But she was right about this one thing!

Since no one else had mentioned it...what about Julie's clothes?? The outfit she showed up in was bad enough, but the dress she wore to the wedding was downright hideous!!!

Well if it would relax him I don't see anything wrong with Mark playing a little golf on the morning of his wedding. That is just it though, morning! He shouldn't have stayed out golfing so late and cutting it close like that! For a guy all it takes to get ready is a shower, and a shave and put on the tux and he's ready ,so he really didn't need to just be hanging out all day feeling nervous! So a couple hours in the morning golfing would be fine, but he did stay kind of late and he knew he was stressing his bride out! He was a little selfish in that way, but Barbara kind of was overreacting too, even way before they were at the church and he was running late!!!

LOL!!! It would have been funny if Julie went into labor at the church during the ceremony ,if Barbara was worried at the apt even that Julie was going in labor right before her wedding what if it happened at the wedding!!!! LOL!!!

Those dresses were pretty bad ! They looked like dresses that a fat old lady would wear, not maternity dresses ! She looked TOO big!!! Like you could tell she was padded up and not really pregnant I thought! Schneider looked better in that maid of honor dress than she did!!!

Julie looked good and healthy in the face though, but that short perm had to go. Another thing that looked too old for her! It was like a middle aged woman's hair not a girl in her early 20's!
