Default Marty Ingels 1936-2015

As tough as one would expect for lose a longtime spouse suddenly, it must be needlessly extra tough for Shirley Jones who seems to have been the only one to understand her reasons for marrying and staying married to him despite all the stunts he pulled down the years- even being publically at odds with her sons at times. Well, I hope David Cassidy reaches out to his half-brothers and their mother during this time- and the four men will refrain from making any 'good riddance' cracks re Mr. Ingels in front of her.

Sad

I loved Marty's appearances on "The Dick Van Dyke Show" as Rob's army buddy Sol Pomeroy. Marty Ingels

Marty Ingels sold stories about David to the National Enquirer. Then Shirley goes on how David will not talk to her family. I guess she can not see the reason why. As far as Marty Ingels goes good riddance.

And you're constantly on here posting any negative story you can find about David Cassidy, so you're obviously no better. And if your only response to someone's death is "good riddance," that speaks a whole lot more about you than it does about him or anybody else you trash.

I you read the news you would know that David was driving with a suspended license and fleeing the scene of a hit and run. Marty Ingels gave interviews to the National Enquirer. What am I saying that is wrong. These things happened.

Here is the interview. To go to the National Enquirer and identify yourself as David's step dad is misleading in itself. Marty was nothing to David.http://m.nationalenquirer.com/celebr...adly-destiny-0

RIP Marty but also many many condolences to Shirley Jones . Even though her marriage to Marty was at times tumultuous, it lasted many years and clearly had its many moments of joy. It can't be an easy time for her.
