Default Jackie's best boyfriend

What boyfriend did you like best for Jackie? Booker, Gary, Fisher, or Fred, who became her husband?

I liked Booker and wish they would have done more with them. Of course, I really liked George Clooney back then, so I guess that could have something to do with my choice.

I liked Fred (at times), but he just seemed annoying a lot of the time and he was way more into Jackie then she ever was into him. JMO. And I don't think either of them loved each other enough to get married, especially Jackie.

I totally agree with your post!! I didn't see Gary or Fisher as boyfriends for Jackie at all! Than Fisher turning out to be abusive too!

But I always wanted Jackie and that guy who lived next door that had the two daughters for the one season to get together! When he came into the show, I thought right away, wow he could be a love interest for Jackie!!! He was cool and nice looking and seemed like he would fit with Jackie!!! A shame they were only on that one season! I liked the daughters too!

I actually didn't really care much for any of Jackie's boyfriends, I found most of them to be forgetable and Fred was just a weird match for her, they never made sense together

I agree with you about Fred for sure. They had zero chemistry. Gary would have been ok, but I feel he was wrong in how he whined about her being a cop and dumping her for it because she wouldn't quit when he knew from the beginning that she was a cop. Of course the ditz quit anyway.

Gary was a control freak, and the way he whined about Jackie being a cop was very unbecoming... a total turn-off.

Wasn't she sleeping with that Ziggy guy at one stage?

I never thought of that. That would have been AWESOME! It would have even made Darlene's rivalry with the youngest daughter more interesting.

Jackie was always my favorite character, but now that I'm older I wish they would have made her less neurotic as time went on. She settled for losers, because on some level, she didn't think she could do any better.

Like I said, I liked Gary. I dont think he was whining for the sake of whining. He was concerned that Jackie might get killed and he was worried about her.
