Cult classic. Saw it when it first came out. Always fun to go to a showing with props and shouting all the right lines.

I love this movie, also a big fan of the sequel Shock Treatment, actually I like the songs more in ST.

The movie never made any sense to me but I always seem to like it. Great music!

its not really supposed to make a whole lot of sense - its supposed to be fun!

BBC America is airing the play version of it next weekend.

Do theatres still show Rocky Horror at midnight? I just saw it once back in 1983 at the Hollywood theatre in LaCrosse WI.

Great music. Great fun. But not scary at all.

SLIGHT SPOILER.

I do have a question about Rocky Horror Picture Show. I hated DR Frank at first, but was sad to see what happened to him at the end. Was that wrong? Was I supposed to be happy about it?

Frank did kill Eddie and Dr. Scott was looking for him. Even though Eddie was a rebel and was a bad boy, they knew he was a human. Dr. Frank-n-Furter destroyed Eddie and said he deserved it, Columbia thought otherwise since she first fell in love with Frank-n-Furter then with Eddie, but Frank was always in the way!

I hope that clears it...

It wasn't supposed to be scary.

Agreed. If anything, it's supposed to be campy. And to me it's great fun when you get into the "spirit" of things-shouting out and knowing most of the audience responses, bringing props and/or dressing up as one of the characters.

I went into the FOX remake with my usual skepticism, but I ended up liking it:

Some good:
-Tim Curry
-they didn't tinker around with the songs

Middle of the road:
-still not a Laverne Cox fan

Bad:
-despite being filmed to premiere on network television, some of the commercial fadeouts were a bit disjointed

I can see Fox rerunning it in future Octobers.
