On an episode of Golden Girls this morning called "Brother, Can You Spare A Dime?" AKA "Brother, Can You Spare That Jacket?" Blanche admits she is 48. Don't know if she was kidding or if she really admitted it but it sounded like she was serious.

Blanche was Born in 1932, making her 60 when the show ended.

1932 is her birth year. In the "Mother's Day" episode, Blanche was 17 on Christmas Day, 1949. That meant she had to have been born in 1932.

Her mother even said it, and mother's don't lie!
