Default Housing Authority Is So Slow Trying To Give Poor People A Place To Live

I recently applied for section 8 housing with Maryland housing authority because their section 8 waiting list opened. I know it's gonna take them a long time to find me a apartment to live since I'm single and I have no kids. I figure I would be near the top of the list since I only got a part time job and I'm on the verge of being homeless. I saw on their online application that you gotta be making a certain amount of money to qualify for section 8 housing which I think is wrong because homeless people need a place to live. It's not their fault that they don't have jobs. I can't force jobs to call me. So don't give me a hard time because I can't get a job and nobody is calling me. I was at pissed at Virginia housing authority for taking me off their housing waiting list and now I gotta reapply. What kind of sense does that make? I f*cking hate this world especially how the government who has the power to help homeless and unemployed people because they avoid them like they're a cancer. That's why this world will always have homeless and unemployed people because the rich people who have the power to help poor people don't give a damn about them.

Then they wonder why some poor people kill themselves. Why should poor people who kill themselves continue to live when they have no money, no place to live and nobody will help them? It really disgusts me that we live in a world that has so many homeless and unemployed people and these problems continue to exist because rich people who have the power to help them don't give a sh*t. I've thought about suicide before and the only reason i'm not dead is because i'm afraid of guns. It sucks that I would think about suicide but what else am I supposed to think about when I can't get a job? Ain't no point in living when you have no money and no place to live.

I don't know how it is there but Illinois is discriminatory towards non parents. A single woman could keep producing illegitimate babies she couldn't afford to receive more in welfare and she'll be head of the line. However a homeless childless person? they can die as far as the politicians care. I know, I once called to apply for welfare and was told I don't matter as much as a parent.

See that's exactly what I'm talking about. Their system needs to be changed because they're wrong for what they're doing. Homeless single people need a place to live. I guess they think homeless single people are supposed to stay at homeless shelters and sleep in the streets forever. F*cking as*holes. How would the manager and employees of the housing authority like it if they were homeless and they had to stay at homeless shelters and sleep in the streets?

But with all due respect, you have internet access and live with your parents so you are last on their list.

That shouldn't mean anything because if my parents were dead, I would be homeless. The housing authority needs to look at me as a single person who happens to live with my parents because I have nowhere else to go. I hope my parents leave their house to me if they die before me so that way i'll have a place to live. The house is already paid off. Even if they did leave the house to me, I wouldn't be able to take care of it since i'll never have a good job. If I was to get a government check, I'm sure the amount I get wouldn't be enough to take care of the house.
