"iZombie" Taps Eddie Jemison as New Villain

Eddie Jemison will recur as a new villain in the second season of "iZombie", EW has learned. He will play Mr. Boss, Seattle’s very own crime lord.

“We’re really playing him as the man who runs Seattle,” says series creator Rob Thomas, noting that Mr. Boss is very unique from the other main villains in season 2. “It’s a very different flavor from Blaine and Vaughn Du Clark. With David Anders and Steven Weber, we’ve got such big scenery-chewing, delightfully big bad guys. With Mr. Boss, we wanted to play the mild-mannered, broodily efficient kind of guy.”

Thomas continues, “The idea with the Mr. Boss character is essentially that he was the accountant for the mob, and, through his own shrewdness and willingness to go more violent than anyone else would, has landed as the man in Seattle. You would think with that name, it would be a loud, showy character, but he plays an affable, and yet incredibly dangerous villain.”

Eddie Jemison, who will first appear in an episode slated for mid-November, has had stints on "Hung" and "Criminal Minds". He's also known from the 2004 feature film The Punisher which featured "Hung" star Tom Jane as the titular character.

Jemison previously worked with Rob Thomas on the Veronica Mars feature film.

"iZombie" returns Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.

He seems an odd choice for a crime boss but I guess he will make it work. I only saw him on a few episodes of Hung.
Also the second season of iZombie starts tonight.
