Default biggest fear?

what's your biggest fear? like a phobia...

mine is water, like pool water. well it used to be. i couldn't swim cuz i like started panicking everytime i tried and finally my dad was like "ok, ur taking swimming classes and that's that!" so i took em-i felt so...weird, i was like 14 and everyone else was like 5. lol...but i learned. i'm not that great, but i know how to now and if i were to like fall into a pool, i'd have no trouble.

i also have a fear of dark alleys.

Default People look at me like I'm crazy when I admit my phobia

I have got a phobia over cockroaches, especially the big ones that fly. In the south we have the fat ones that fly. Boy do I feel lucky living down south. Usually people look at me like I'm a psycho if I start hypervenalating at the site of a roach. *sinks in chair at all the crazy looks being given to me* lol

That's one of my big fears too. I don't want to think about what murder victims go through in their final moments. It's too awful to think about. That's why I'm for the death penalty. I feel that if a person intentionally murders another person, then they should know how it feels to have your life taken from you.

I don't know what I'm afraid of....insects, I guess.
I'm not really terrified of 'em--It's not like I have a
phobia or anything. All my fears are just typical things
that would scare anyone.

I hear ya on the spiders, J! *SHIVERS*

I'm okay if I see the teeny ones, or Daddy-Long-Legs, cause you can barely see those. But once they start gettin' BIG and HAIRY---**MORE SHIVERS**

*CHILLS*

Nuh-uh, I can't take that! I remember goin' to the Louisville Zoo a couple of years ago and just innocently strollin' along to the giraffe house with my friend. Once we got in I turned around, and there in the wall were all the giant, hairy tarantulas!! Needless to say I jumped right back---but it was like a train wreck, somethin' possessed me to steal glances (I'm sure if they hadn't been encased in glass I wouldn't have done that).

This is insane.

I can't even look at a freakin' big spider on TV! I don't even like typin' out these words that identify 'em! One of my friends used to torture me by findin' a picture of this huge one and thrustin' it in my face---nope, I can't even look at one in a book!

The "Sn-Sz" Encyclopedia was horrible---if I accidentally flipped over the "Spider" entry, there was a huge picture of a tarantula (God, I really hate typin' those words---makes me think that if I keep typin' 'me, I'll see one or somethin', lol), along with several other ones.

NOT fun.

Uuuggh...*tries to shake off chills*

JWillhight, we may be 11 inches apart in our heights, but we're both blond and share the same phobia. lol

I'm scared of tons of things--mind you, most of them are really weird...

My worst fear is getting lower than an A on my report card. It's like some obsessive thing, I HAVE to get straight A's or I feel like a failure.

A very close second worst fear is worms. They frighten me beyond belief. I've had several traumatizing (at the time) experiences that left me in constant fear of worms. Like when I was four I thought that there was a worm in my ear. (Hey, I was four...) And when I was little, I HAD to have a light on at night because in the dark I thought I saw worms covering my floor. Anyway, I don't exactly know WHAT I think they'll do to me... but they just scare me. Like, I catch the bus at 6:40 in the morning, so in the winter it's dark when I go out. On rainy days I freak out because I'm afraid I'll step on a worm that I won't be able to see in the dark... I'm some sort of freak, aren't I?

Another thing I'm deathly afraid of is tornadoes. When I was nine, I was home alone when the tornado sirens went off, and I've been freaked out about them ever since.

Another big fear is that I'll be in the bathroom and someone will jump out at me from behind the shower curtain. I dunno, I'm strange... Everytime I go into a bathroom with a shower, the first thing I do is check the shower just to make sure...

The last big one is looking at mirrors or windows in the dark. Not sure why. The "Bloody Mary" thing never really scared me (Because it doesn't work...), so I have no clue why. But I still just can't look at a mirror in the dark.

Now that you know I'm just a big freak scared of the stupidest things (I mean, really, who starts hyperventilating when her Geometry grade drops to a 98? Besides me, that is), I'll just go away now....
