Default People You Knew Were Just Outright Lying

I remember the Susan Harrison case in which her husband Jim was accused of being involved in her disappearance. Some time later, her body was found and she had been murdered.
I have read the book her sister wrote about the case and I am convinced that Jim knew more than he was telling.
Then the officer Ed Carter who was later arrested for the murder of the women in Oak Grove (along with two other men). One of the officers interviewed admitted Carter failed his polygraph.
What people come to your mind?

Jim Harrison is a good pick. I'd also say people like Mark Nichols and Judy Groezigner immediately come to mind when I think of someone who I thought were just outright lying.

Melody's Friend Who Drove the Getaway Car Up to the Prison Wall:

I'm just gonna past my old post and let you all see for yourself why I believe she was outright lying (despite others believing her):

"Here's whom the producers (and maybe law enforcement) expected us to believe that I did NOT believe- Melody's friend who drove the get away car! I can't think of her last name but remember Melody from Texas whose boyfriend was in prison who kept making collect calls to her house (that she supposedly was unable to stop?) and who got her to 'persuade' a friend to drive up to the prison wall? Well, according to the friend, Melody persuaded her to drive her car up to the prison wall and wait there for the boyfriend (Chad?) even though there was really no legitimate reason for the friend to drive a car up to the prison wall nor wait around for someone to jump over a fence! Anyway, according to the friend, Chad immediately shoved her out of the car and drove away with Melody and Melody supposedly had a 'helpless' look to her. First off, why would someone not wanting to help someone escape prison drive up to a prison wall and wait for them to jump off the wall? That makes absolutely no sense! Secondly, even she somehow was tricked into driving her car to that spot , why wouldn't she immediately lock their car doors, drive away, honk the horn and try to alert the guards to the escaped prisoner if she in fact had no interest in helping a prisoner escape? Third, considering how this person did a great deal TO help Melody and her boyfriend with the escape, why would anyone think she has any credibility re Melody's role- much less her own instead of trying to shift the blame entirely to a known prisoner even though she wound up dumped out of her own car? Sorry, of all the witnesses on Melody's behalf, she came across to me as the least credible even less so than Melody's seemingly ostrich headed dad! "

Grandma of the century: Ida Prewitt

When she said she had nothing to do with the ladies disappearence. I suppose telling her brother to sprinkle pepper on her property was to keep the raccoons away, right?

Al Henderson. I know people here are somewhat split on his guilt or innocence, but this was one of the rare cases when UM flat-out called out a guy for lying because the story he gave in his interview didn't match the story he gave the cops or the casino surveillance footage.

I love Robert Stack's line:"From this point on, Al and the surveillance footage seem to disagree".

Again, the Noe-Prewitt family. How a bunch of rednecks managed to run a crime syndicate and get away with murder for so long... I heard the police in that area were pretty corrupt, but on that level?! Seriously the Gotham City Police Department is impressed by their level of corruption.

Franklin Delano Floyd. Even before I read "A Beautiful Child" child!me and probably everyone who watched that segment, knew he was a sorry sack of **** for whom Hell feels too mild a punishment for him.

I know this is mostly about suspects lying but I felt like the police officer who spoke about Tommy Burkett seemed like he was lying to me. He was definitely trying to tell a story that supported what the police theory was and totally ignored all the other facts.

there were quite a few police in segments that were lying or not being realists. someone mentioned ed carter that may have been hands down the worst. can't see what took so long to arrest him. was it the bonderson case where the two police officers argued. the sherriff was wrong and got proven wrong by the state trooper yet he opted to go on UM staying with his theory. some my see that as pride, but as a police officer he should have gone with the facts as they both argued LOL.

what about the steve sandlin case? I felt the police chief was lying out of his teeth in that segment.

what about the cases where 3 people are point the finger at each other for a murder then it gets solved an none were involved...was that the bob bean case? and then eric tamyasu is much like it though it is unsolved.

Yeah, Ida and the Noes story never added up and just didn't make a lick of sense to me even as a 13 year old kid when I first watched the story. You just don't drop off a disabled person and their friend at some random Walmart and then they fall off the face of the earth. I'm glad they're probably going to throw the book at the Noes for what they did to Wendy, her daughter, and her friend. Beverly's already started serving her 15 year sentence.

YES!!! This guy has to be in my top 3 biggest liars. I found his explanations for things to be too long, convoluted and nonsensical.

That guy gets my vote for least convincing liar on UM. I mean, most liars on UM at least try to come up with a half-way convincing story to sell to the public, that guy came off as not even trying that much.
