Default Are there are new workplace comedies or comedies about single adults without kids?

You know shows like the Office or Friends

Haven't had a chance to preview the fall shows and wanted to watch a few to take my mind off football

The only new show I see tonight is Life In Pieces but that's a family show

STOP BEING MEAN!!! I'm sorry. I thought you were referring any sitcoms that doesn't have kids in there. You need to be nice to other members.

You know what? Surprisingly it doesn't seem like there are that many.

Television sitcoms have a long history of single people being featured, but it does seem like nobody is really single in current sitcoms. Of course, I'm sure people can pull a thousand examples of single people in current sitcoms, but it seems sitcoms these days do emphasize the lives of married people.

So there are no sitcoms featuring single women or men or any type of workplace comedy?

No, I didn't say that. Or at least that's not the point I was trying to get across. Brooklyn Nine Nine is a workplace comedy. Watch that.

The only new show I can think of right now that fits this category is actually The Muppets. No kids, adult humor, workplace setting. Just with, you know, lots of muppets.

Oh okay. I consider anything that isn't from the 70s or 80s to be farily new, in comparison.

There's a new comedy show on the ABC Family network called Kevin From Work. It mostly takes place in an office setting. It comes on Wednesday nights and they've already shown several episodes of it. Here's the promo.

I enjoy Brooklyn 99. I wished adult sitcoms had the same formats as live action ones. All we see on Fox are The Simpsons and Seth's shows which are all about families. Time for Fox to break the habit.
