I slightly prefer Quincy over Rockford because Rockford is overhyped. It's not as funny as people describe it as being. I wish Rockford Files had more humor in it.

Quincy himself can be too much of a doogooder sometimes and would get on my nerves, but overall I think the plots of that show were more interesting than Rockford's were. The pace of the show flowed better too. Overall, Quincy was more entertaining.

You're comparing apples to oranges here. They were both great shows. I liked and watched them both. If I had to choose which was a better show to me, I prefer Rockford. But it's just not a good comparison.

i seen rock ford files over hundreds of times. but if i had to chose i would pick the Rockford files but both are awesome shows!! i do enjoy Quincy i never heard of it until recently when me TV started showing it!!
