It's tough to say. His personality wasn't a lot different in Matlock, but I suppose I like him in The Andy Griffith Show better. I certainly like the Andy Griffith Show better than Matlock.

The Andy Griffith Show by far. Matlock is just so boring. I can't wait for it to end so something better can come along for me to watch in the morning!

If you're still not sure which of the 2 series you prefer, you will now have a chance to see both series for free on Pluto TV. Pluto TV will have separate Live TV and On Demand channels for both The Andy Griffith Show and Matlock and will offer every episode from every season so you can then decide for yourself which one you like better:

Pluto TV is adding 6 new channels.
