WCVB's PARK ST. UNDER (1979-1980) - Update: Now Have (2) Episodes Available for Trade - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Does anyone have anything from this single season multi-cam sitcom produced by a local Boston station, WCVB (which also did the infamous THE BAXTERS)? The premise was remarkably similar to a show that ended up on NBC in 1982 . . . CHEERS! One episode exists on VHS at a University in Georgia, but seeing that a trip to GA is not in my immediate future, I would appreciate any help in tracking down more footage and/or information about PARK ST. UNDER. Thank you!

There might be copies hanging around the Boston area. In fact, the station COULD have the original masters.

Hi, Fragglevision! I'm currently a student at Boston University (but in L.A. for the semester) and have done quite a bit of searching. The station hasn't gotten back to me, and while I've been able to get ahold of a few people who worked on the series, I'm usually passed off to others who don't respond.

I have one connection that may yield something, but in the meantime, I'm hoping there's some enterprising Bostonian here who spent much of 1979 and 1980 delighting in the miracle of the VCR!
