Cool

I Love Lucy is a classic of course. And I like Here's Lucy because Lucy's co-stars on that show were her real life children Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz Jr.

I Love Lucy no doubt. I can't get into watching Here's Lucy. To me, its just not funny. Its also odd because there's a guest star in every episode. I've never seen that before.

I agree mets82. I could never get into Here's Lucy. It just didn't feel the same as Lucy's previous 2 shows.

I think that's why most people don't like it. They're in the show because they're her children, not because they have talent, which they don't.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't think the kids on The Lucy Show were great thespians either.

I Love Lucy is in a class by itself. The Lucy Show started out okay, with some memorable shows with Vivian Vance. Once Viv left, the show became just OK. Here's Lucy was horrible, with constant guest stars, and her no-talent kids.

I love anything Lucy but while I truly enjoyed the later shows, I Love Lucy was a masterpiece and IMO the #1 best show ever. In I Love Lucy, we saw Miss Ball's genius for physical comedy and for skillfully adapting to a new medium. She set the bar for many generations of shows, only a few of which have come close to ILL.

On the show maybe, but Desi Jr, with the right material was a very good actor which he proved in films like Joyride (1977), and Billy Two Hats.

I agree!! Plus the script they were given on Here's Lucy didn't really call for good acting! It was corny, almost like the acting was SUPPOSED to be bad!!! That's what made the show fun!! It wasn't Lucie and Desi having bad acting talent I think any other teenagers that would have been casted wouldn't have been any better!

Yeah, Here's Lucy just kind of turned me off. Plus, I dont think I've heard of a guest star in every episode. I mean isnt that kind of reeks of desperation?
