Loved her books. Yes they were "trashy" novels but so much fun to read. Lucky Santangelo is one of the best female characters in a book series.

I was asking about Jackie, not Joan. Of course I know perfectly well that she was a writer but the thread title makes it seem that her only claim-to-fame was being Joan's sister.

Jackie Collins was more famous for being a writer, I think over being the sister. She was a successful author long before Dynasty (which made Joan the big star she became). I know Joan was famous before then though. I read it wrong and thought you meant about Joan being a writer, which she was.
