"They Took Our Child: We Got Her Back" To Premiere Oct. 7th on LMN
"They Took Our Child" Gets October Premiere on LMN
by Denise Petski September 18, 2015 "They Took Our Child: We Got Her Back" tells the stories of abducted children who escaped from the hands of their kidnappers; and the families who never gave up hope on getting them home safely. The seven-episode hourlong series is set to premiere Wednesday, October 7 at 10 PM on LMN, a division of A+E Networks. Each episode features a single story, told by the formerly kidnapped child and the family members and investigators who tirelessly searched for them, according to the network. Viewers will hear about the parents’ frantic and relentless search for their child, and how they worked with law enforcement to bring them home. “TV has the power to tell stories that celebrate the triumph of the human spirit,” said producer Charlie Ebersol. “This show is the epitome of a hero’s journey – from the survival stories of the kidnapped children, to the parents who sacrificed everything, this show will inspire you to never give up.” "They Took Our Child: We Got Her Back" is produced for LMN by The Company with Charlie Ebersol, Mike Lanigan and Jason C. Henry as executive producers. Laura Fleury and Marilyn Fletcher serve as executive producers for LMN. http://deadline.com/2015/09/they-too...mn-1201534512/ |

Wow, sounds like they're profiling abducted girls exclusively, do they not care about abducted boys? I know Lifetime is supposed to be "Television for women" and all that, but this is ridiculous, even by their standards. Don't think I'll be watching.

Looks like this is gone after a few episodes. Can't say as I'm really surprised.

They're actually burning off the last 4 episodes tomorrow morning, starting at 6 a.m. Further indications this isn't coming back.
