I haven't watched any of the episodes on Antenna TV. I wonder how they are editing the episodes? Looks like it started airing this week at 9pm. I have all 7 seasons on dvd. I don't know how often I might tune in. A lot of shows are on at that time. I hope Family Ties does well in that time slot.

Antenna TV, Tribune Broadcasting’s multicast network, today announced the addition of eleven classic series to the network’s lineup for 2015.

Antenna TV, which airs in 88 markets across the U.S. reaching 71% of TV households, will add Newhart, The Jeffersons, Mork & Mindy, One Day at a Time, Family Ties, Evening Shade, Leave it to Beaver, Doogie Howser, MD, Mr. Belvedere, Dear John, and Small Wonder to its existing lineup in 2015.

“The addition of these proven hits allows Antenna TV to broaden its demographics and appeal to a younger viewer, while helping local affiliate stations continue to build audience. We are excited to add these shows to the lineup and plan to announce more programming acquisitions for the network in the coming months,” said Sean Compton, President of Strategic Programming and Acquisitions, Tribune Media.

Newhart, The Jeffersons, Mork & Mindy, One Day at a Time, Family Ties, Evening Shade, Leave it to Beaver, Doogie Howser, MD, Mr. Belvedere,
Dear John and Small Wonder join Antenna TV’s lineup of classic favorites: Three’s Company, Too Close for Comfort, I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, Dennis the Menace, Father Knows Best, Bachelor Father, Hazel, The Partridge Family, Sanford and Son, Maude, Diff’rent Strokes, WKRP in Cincinnati, All in the Family, Good Times, The Three Stooges, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show, The Jack Benny Program, The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin, Gidget, The Flying Nun, It Takes a Thief and Antenna TV Theater, a movie block featuring MGM and Sony movies.

I don't know how much is edited but they show most of the credits but do a crunch towards the end to show a commercial related to programming on Antenna TV which is stupid. But what they did tonight was just wrong. On the second episode, which is the one where Uncle Arthur makes a pass at Mallory, they didn't even play the credits and they crunched the last scene of dialogue where Steven was talking to Mallory to show an ad about the stupid Jeannie marathon and I didn't even hear what was said and th captions didn't show up either. This channel is going downhill fast. I hope that was just a mistake tonight. If that keeps up, I'll have to stop watching,

Last Scene:

Steven comes in. Steven sees that Arthur was in the same room as Mallory.

Steven: Mallory what?

Mallory: Dad, we were just talking. He apologized. I’m ok.

Mallory hugs Steven.

Steven: I’m so sorry this thing happened Mallory.

Mallory: Why did he do it huh?

Steven: I don’t know. I don’t think he knows.

Richard enters.

Richard: Hey Steve, I have you penciled in for a speech buddy. See, 8 to 8:15 Steve speaks.

Steven: Richard.

Richard: Ok.

Richard leaves.

Mallory: Go make your speech. I’m fine, really.

Steven: You could have come to me right away Mallory. Maybe I could have helped.

Mallory: Arthur’s your good friend.

Steven: You’re my daughter. Nothing is more important to me than my family. Not my work, not my friends, nothing.

Steven kisses Mallory on the top of her head.

Steven: You used to tell me everything.

Mallory: I’m older now, it’s not as easy.

Steven starts to leave.

Mallory: I love you Dad.

Steven: I love you too.

Mallory smiles.
