Default Are they my actual friends?

Alright, I'm currently in high school things seem to be going good. Everything, except my friends. When I see them I feel like I'm excluded from the group. I also suspect their making fun of me. For example. One of my friends, lets call him M is in Geometry class. And I'm in Algebra 1 class. When I told him I was in Algebra 1, He said I was in the stupid class. I'm clearly not stupid because I'm passing with an 85%. He does the same thing with Biology and English Literature class.he puts me down because I'm in a "lower class" than him.
Another thing, he use to make fun of me because I had to take remedial classes in grade school(not anymore though). And one final thing. He always bosses me around. He tells me to buy him a bag of chips . I tell him no, but then he yells and causes a scene.

On a side note, I always feel sad, angry, sick, and depressed after hanging around with them. But when I'm not around them, I feel rather happy, excited, friendlier, more sociable.

I just had enough of it. I want to find new friends. Friends that support me and that care for me. I'm tired of dealing with them, I just want to move on with me life.

Sorry for the rant, but this was the only way, I can say what I had to say. Thanks:-)

I decided to get rid of them, so I don't care about them anymore.

Good for you. A friend makes you feel good about yourself. A friend brings you up not down. It's scary at first going off on your own, but when you have a true friend that respects you, it will be worth it.

Yep. I'm now noticing , that I feel much happier when I'm not around them. Plus the good thing is, I already have another group of friends.
Like I said before, my d friends would make feel depressed, and pessimistic. The one friend hit me with his binder 5x in the head. And he found it hilarious. I wanted to punch him in the face so bad,but didn't. And every time they joke around, it consists of hitting, smacking, degradading each other, making others feel like crap. It sickens me when people laugh at stuff like that. Along with many other reasons, I knew this was cue to leave them.
Then we have my other friends. We actually have a good time. We laugh, PLAYFULLY tease each other, Among other things. When I'm around them, I have a more positive attitude towards things. So I'm thinking these may be my true friends. Do you think so?

I do. The way I see it is if your miserable around your "friends" then there not really your friends. You want people that your comfortable with and make you happy. It seems like since you dumped those people for your new friends, it seems like there your true friends.
