Question Which Phrase Do You Use?

Which phrase do you use when someone says something to you, you didn't hear them or what they said didn't make sense? I know there are different ones. Just curious.

I'm sorry, what?
You want to run that by me again?
Excuse Me?
I beg your pardon?

I'm fond of saying "What now, I didn't quite catch that"

My husband does a really funny impression of Suzanne Sugarbaker of Designing Women saying "Excuse Me, Excuse Me"

I usually say something along the lines of, "What did you say?" or "Pardon me?". I've found that when people say something lousy, particularly in a passive-aggressive way, they don't like to repeat it. Even more reason to ask them to do just that.

I always just say "WHAT?" and the person will just stare at me, pause and say"what?" or "what was that" or if someone else is listening they'll turn to that person and say "what'd he say?" and embarrass me-I HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS!!!!

I prefer simply to say "pardon?"
