Has anyone ever noticed that Mama always got fired?

She didn't last long at Raytown's Travel Agency.

She also got fired from McRays when working with Bubba.

She quit, but was closed to being fired at Food Circus as Ask Thelma.

She was too brutally honest in that radio style consumer advocate type of show. (Can't remember at the moment)

Were there others?

Although not technically a job, she was also president of the Church Ladies' League. IIRC, she wasn't "fired" from this.

In "Bed and Breakdown", the whole family was basically fired by all their guests.

Really then that's three times she was fired: Raytown Travel Agency, McRay's, and KRAY radio.

Well, those two are a bit of a stretch, lol.

And as for the CLL she simply co-lost the election with Iola.

And at Martinelli's she never even got to start her career as head hostess; the very first day she was to start there, Carl came back to her on his hands and knees begging her to take him back (as she says, she never could resist a man in that position, haha).

As for "Supermarket", that is a semi-tough episode for me to watch because Mama is at her most obnoxious in that episode IMO. She was really out of line with Naomi repeatedly.
