Default Anyone else find Sanford and son annoying?

I'll give you a few reasons:
1. Red Foxx. Every episode he did the same routine. I'm comin Elizabeth! Doesn't that get old after the 200th time?
2.the people who produced the show, made colored people, be portrayed in an poor way.
I don't like that (I'm white ,just saying).
3.The setting &the lighting. Ugh. The setting was so depressing. They lived in a junk yard. And the lighting, oh boy. The lighting is so bad, I can't stand to watch one episode, because it makes my eyes hurt.

You seem to know an awful lot about a show that you claim is too annoying to watch.

You have nothing to apologize for. I've never heard of anyone being offended by that term and if they were, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People or NAACP would've changed their name by now.

It is 2015. Most black people don't like being called "colored people."

The series was originally intended to star Barnard Hughes & Paul Sorvino but it was suggested that Fred & Lamont be played by black actors.

Then you probably also realize that the NAACP was founded in 1909.
Again, it is 2015 now and again, most black people don't appreciate being called "colored people." It's not 1909 anymore.

I love Sanford and Son, even though it's overplayed on television. It's very funny.

Sanford and Son is one of my favorites, although Fred was kind of a jerk at times.

I'm black, and don't find "colored" offensive as much as it's just politically incorrect. Black is still perfectly okay lol

That is one thing about it though. Antenna plays it all the time, and a few other shows that Antenna always has on. They could mix it up more, add more new shows ( I mean old shows that haven't been shown before on Antenna)!

And the term "Colored people"! Wow, I haven't heard that since about 1965!

I never knew that. I always wondered what this show would have been like if it had been with white actors instead. We did get to see a little spoof of what it would have been like when the show parodied itself in an episode and was called Steinberg and Son. That was a funny episode.
