Damon Wayans Dismisses Bill Cosby Sex Scandal as a 'Money Hustle'

During an interview Friday on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club, actor Damon Wayans dismissed the Bill Cosby sex scandal as a "money hustle" by the victims, according to Mediaite.

The In Living Color and Saturday Night Live veteran discussed a range of issues before he was asked to offer advice to the fallen entertainment icon, whom he believes should divorce his wife, and give a deposition in what he describes as a "money hustle," the report notes.

"If I was him, I would divorce my wife, give her all my money, and then I would go do a deposition," he said in the interview. "I would light one of them three-hour cigars. I’d have some wine and maybe a quaalude, and I would just go off, because I don’t believe that he was raping."

In July, New York magazine profiled 35 women also have accused the 77-year-old Cosby of sex assault and rape in decades old allegations, and Wayans questioned why the accusers waited so long to make their claims.

“How big is his p---- that it gives you amnesia for 40 years?" Wayans says in the interview. "If you listen to them talk, they go, ‘Well, the first time…’ The first time? B----, how many times did it happen? Just listen to what they’re saying and some of them really is unrape-able. You just look at them and go, ‘You don’t want that. Get outta here.’”

what an idiot - a little hard for someone to "gett outta" there when they are unconscious

Cosby is a powerful man with a lot of friends and money, i can understand why someone wouldn't want to go up against him until others came forward.

...as for the "money hustle", it doesn't really look like anyone is getting rich off of this (other than attorneys of course), and he really didn't seem to have a problem paying anyone off that raised any suspicions or accusations in the past.

This is disgusting, and really disrespects assault survivors. If anyone ever wonders why they're reluctant to come forward, it's because of garbage from people like Damon.

Damon Wayans criticised after calling Bill Cosby accusers 'unrapeable'

Comedian says Cosby wouldn’t be attracted to ‘bitches’ alleging rape and suggests Cosby was in relationships with the women before spurning them

Comedian and film star Damon Wayans was criticised on Saturday after he defended Bill Cosby against rape allegations and called some of those who have made accusations against the Cosby Show star “bitches” who were “unrapeable”.

Asked about the continued accusations against Cosby in an interview with radio programme The Breakfast Club, Wayans said: “If I was him, I would divorce my wife, wink wink, give her all my money, and then I would go to a deposition, I’d light one of them three-hour cigars, I’d have me some wine, and maybe a Quaalude, and I would just go off, because I don’t believe that he was raping.

“I think he was in relationships with all of them, and then he’s like: ‘You know what, it’s 78, it don’t work no more, I can’t get it up for any of y’all, bye bitches,’ And now they’re like, ‘Oh, really? Rape.’ Forty years – listen, how big is his penis that it gives you amnesia for 40 years?”

The host pointed out that some of those who had accused Cosby of rape and sexual assault had first come forward many years ago.

Wayans, the In Living Color and Saturday Night Live star, responded: “But if you listen to them talk, they go, ‘Well, the first time.’ The first time? Bitch, how many times did it happen? Just listen to what they’re saying.

“And some of them, really, is un-rape-able. When you look, I look at them and go, ‘No, he don’t want that. Get outta here!’”

He later partially backtracked, saying “there may be” some cases where Cosby was guilty. “For anybody who was raped by Bill Cosby, I’m sorry, and I hope you get justice,” he said.

More than 40 women have gone public in the past year with allegations against Cosby, 78, a once-beloved figure who has fallen into disgrace.

The entertainer faces a criminal investigation by Los Angeles police but has not been charged. He has acknowledged marital infidelity but denied criminal wrongdoing, saying any sexual encounters were consensual.

Many Twitter users were highly critical of Wayans for his remarks.

Damon Wayans is a funny guy and i like what he said hahahahahahahahaha. It's hard for me to take these women's side when they should've came forward years ago but i can understand them being scared because Bill is a powerful man.
