Where was I Love Lucy filmed at like what lot and stage? i have all lucy books but i never read.

Found it!

They filmed at an old motion picture lot whose owners, the Nasser brothers, were on the brink of bankruptcy. The site was the General Service Studios located at 1040 North Las Palmas Avenue, in Hollywood.

After Desilu rented the property they did some renovation which ended up creating a new address for the new "Desilu Playhouse" at 6633 Romaine Street, Hollywood 38, California.

Officially they filmed on Stage 2.

That location (at the old movie lot) was for the first two years.

Starting with the third season (1953) they moved to a larger facilities at 846 North Cahuenga Blvd. in Hollywood, at Motion Picture Center. They filmed on Stage 9.

More renovations followed to accommodate the growing Desilu empire.
