I spotted a few commercials last evening at the gym for Visiting Angels, a home-care program for seniors. Cindy Williams is their spokeswoman.

I sometimes wonder if the actress does the commercial for she had/has a member of her family who needed the help. Maybe Cindy has a aunt or relative who used Visiting Angels.
Here is a question, Would you be more willing to buy a product from a actor than a non actor. Do you think they have more to lose if the product is a dud. I see Jane Seymour with her special skin lotions and wonder just how good the lotion is..

99% of the time, they do commercials for the money. There are a few successful actors that donate their voice over money to charity.

As far as skin creams, etc., what celebrities hawk these products? Supermodels who were born gorgeous. That's their "secret".
