Angry Leaving MeTV as of August 31

Sadly Mayberry RFD is no longer on the schedule and has been replaced with Gilligan's Island. I wish they'd have kept Mayberry RFD on as it wasn't shown much in syndication and is a good show that's not available completely on DVD as Gilligan's Island is. Gilligan's island had also been played to death in syndication.

I never got to see it. It was always the Andy Griffith Show. I mean I'd like to see R.F.D. because I hadn't seen it in years.

I don't watch The Andy Griffith Show, and the only reason I watch Mayberry RFD is to see Arlene Golonka.

Oh cool. I hope it is on Sunday as it's a show that's not on DVD compete yet. I liked both Andy and Mayberry RFD and have to agree that Arlene was indeed a looker!

Watch for Arlene on Matlock. It will take a few months though, for MeTV to reach her episodes. Still hot at that time (early 1990s).

They might show that episode alot sooner because they skipped alot of Linda Purl Matlock episodes.

Thought METV would show the Matlock episodes in order. I will say they do have the bumpers for Matlock on ME-TV during the show.

I was shocked at how Matlock is being handled, though I've been tied up at that hour and haven't been able to see much. I thought for sure they'd go with all of Season 1 from the beginning.

So yes, we may see Arlene on Matlock sooner than we thought.

(I also liked her episode of Cannon.)

It's surprised me also. I've DVR'd Matlock and they seem to be showing episodes at random. They did continue with Mayberry RFD where they left off starting at the beginning of season three

Seems very odd about Matlock and also odd that my area never saw Mayberry R.F.D.
