Default Is it wrong that I still watch the show and enjoy it

I mean should I be ashamed for watching The Cosby Show. I grew up watching the show and am currently watching it on Hulu. It brings back memories.

It all depends if you can separate Cliff Huxtable from Bill Cosby.

It's hard to do. I've watch some I Spy since this happened but it's hard not to think about it.

Same way as I liked Baretta and I wish it was on in reruns but they never will show it cause of what happened. But IDK the show was made long before Robert Blake killed that woman. And same thing with the Cosby show. And it wasn't Tony Baretta and Cliff Huxtable that did those bad things it was Robert Blake and Bill Cosby!

Since the birth of Hollywood, 99% of entertainers have had shady personal lives. If all one cared about was their personal lives, there wouldn't be anything to enjoy.

I tried looking at the Bill Cosby Show and all I could think about was him drugging women

I'm re-watching it right now also (along with A Different World), and don't feel it's wrong that I'm still really enjoying it. There's plenty of other actors, writers, producers, etc. that put in all their love and effort into creating this great show. I'm enjoying it for their performances, plus I'm still in love with Lisa Bonet haha. And I do separate Cliff from Bill.

No, I don't think it's wrong if that's how you feel and can watch it then that's your business. Personally I can't and I never will watch it again but then we're all free to decide for ourselves on that. But if you can still enjoy the show that's fine.

Well there are other charcters on the show, do if you like it why not. Not making any judgments, but just because someone hates an actor as a person, doesn't necessarily mean you have to hate their work.

Me personally never got into Cosby or the show. And with what has unfolded, seeing anything he's in fills me with revulsion. But that doesn't mean you have to feel the way I do.

Bill Cosby was a great comedian and actor who had a very corrupt past. When you first watched The Cosby Show he was still the same exact man only you were unaware at the time that he had drugged women and raped them. I think like others have said if you can separate the character from the real person then it is fine to continue to watch the show. If you cannot than the show is most likely going to be tarnished for you forever.

I understand how you feel. For example, I don't care for Vanessa Redgrave as a person but I must admit she's a great actress and have enjoyed some of her work.

when it's a story like this it's almost impossible to watch the show they way you were able to 10 years ago

I couldn't but some folks can-it's an individual decision.
