Soup for One
On the 26th of this month, I started a thread called "Disco Boots". This thread was about a clip from the "Mamma Mia!" movie in which Christine Baranski's character wore a very beautiful pair of boots. The way that I tied it in with "Gimme a Break!" is by mentioning how her character looked almost as sexy and sophisticated in her boots as Julie from "Gimme a Break!" looked in hers. In between the time that I posted that thread and the present moment, I have made several more attempts to stimulate some conversation and had minimal success. After posting my last thread, want of something more interesting to do caused me to surf the Internet and look up some stuff that happened to be on my mind. One thing that I looked up was Christine Barnaski herself. One thing that I had no idea of is that she was in the movie "Soup for One". This movie was made in 1982. I think that I was 14 when I saw this picture on HBO. Back then I had no idea who Christine Barnaski was. In any event, she was credited as "Blonde at the Bar". Is anyone here familiar with this movie?
