Rob Lowe's Comedy "The Grinder" Casts Christina Applegate as Former Flame

Christina Applegate will be on TV again this fall, playing a Kelly. But not that one.

The woman who rose to fame as Kelly Bundy on "Married… with Children" and most recently starred in this summer’s big-screen sequel Vacation will guest-star in "The Grinder", EW has learned.



Applegate will appear in the show’s fifth episode as Kelly Summers, who is an old flame of Dean’s (Lowe) from his high school days. A lifelong Boise resident, Kelly says she doesn’t have a TV and has never seen "The Grinder" — a fact that Dean finds extremely appealing.

"The Grinder" premieres Sept. 29th.
